The Caf Champions League champion is in his third season on loan in Belgium, but could finally get a chance to play against the best in the world in England.
According to a report in Belgium, the Premier League’s Brighton and Hove Albion are considering bringing Bafana Bafana and former Mamelodi Sundowns forward Percy Tau back to the club.
Tau left Sundowns to join Brighton in 2018, but has yet to appear at the club after being loaned to various clubs in Belgium.
He initially played for the second division Union SG, where he won the Proximus League Player of the Season award.
He then moved on to Club Brugge, where he won the league last season and also participated in the Champions League against players such as Real Madrid and Paris St Germain.
This season he signed a loan deal with a third Belgian club, Anderlecht, where he has been playing with former Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany, now Anderlecht manager.
Tau has recently been sidelined with a minor injury, but according to Kompany, he will be back in action sooner rather than later.

The talisman bafana Tau is now 26 years old and would have gained valuable experience in European football during his years in Belgium.

He has scored 15 goals in his 13 league games this season. Neal Maupay has scored four for Brighton in the league, but no other Seagulls player has more than one goal.
Former Witbank Spurs player Tau has been among goals and assists throughout his time in Belgium and has four goals in 10 league games for Anderlecht this season.
