The arrest warrants for Bosasa’s former chief of operations (COO) Angelo Agrizzi are piling up.
The Commercial Crimes Court in Palm Ridge authorized another arrest warrant for Agrizzi on Thursday, after he again failed to appear for a scheduled appearance, this time to respond to the series of fraud and corruption charges that he and the former deputy ANC Vincent Smith facing allegations that Smith received massive bribes from Bosasa in exchange for his political influence and protection.
Agrizzi has been in hospital for the past six weeks and this is the second arrest warrant authorized during this time, at the Specialized Commercial Crimes Court in Pretoria, where he also faces charges in connection with billions of rand of prison tenders. unreliable that Bosasa obtained in the early 2000s, having authorized one last month.

However, both orders have been suspended and will not be executed at this time.
Smith made his first appearance at Palm Ridge in October, followed later that month by Agrizzi.
But while the former MP was granted bail of 30,000 rand, Agrizzi, in an unexpected turn of events, was denied bail, and Magistrate Philip Venter found it a flight risk and highlighted the “pain headlong “from trying to extradite the Gupta brothers from Dubai.
This is after the state accused Agrizzi of failing to disclose millions of rands of assets abroad in February, when he testified before an affidavit in his Pretoria case.

Agrizzi made the decision on appeal, however, and the South Gauteng High Court ended up ruling in his favor, granting him a bond in the form of title to a luxury Italian property, valued at around 16 million rand.
However, the court heard that Agrizzi was still in intensive care.
A day after initially being denied bail, Agrizzi fell ill and had to be transferred from prison to hospital.
He has since suffered a heart attack, but is now believed to be on the mend.
