JOHANNESBURG – More details will emerge this weekend about the corruption of the PPE (personal protective equipment) in Gauteng.
The ANC PEC (provincial executive committee) is expected to meet to discuss the integrity committee report on Khusela Diko, Bandile Masuku and his wife, Loyiso.

They were investigated following allegations of a multi-million rand PPE tender awarded to Diko’s husband by the Gauteng Health Department.
Diko and Masuku appear to be facing a bleak future as the report is said to contain adverse findings against them.
Masuku’s wife, Loyiso, an MMC from the city of Johannesburg, is believed to be the only one who survived the investigation.

Despite reports that the provincial integrity committee has completed its work, the ANC in Gauteng denies it.
“The PEC of the ANC, contrary to what the media reports that have been circulating on social networks and some media houses, will only meet this weekend. Part of the discussion that will take place is that if and only if the integrity commission finishes with its report and is ready, it will be presented at the PEC meeting, ”said provincial spokesman Bones Modise.
Whatever the outcome, all eyes will be on President Cyril Ramaphosa and the actions he takes against his spokesman, as well as Masuku, one of the political allies of Gauteng Prime Minister David Makhura.
