JOHANNESBURG – AfriForum claims Senzo Meyiwa did not die in a robbery gone wrong, they say he was murdered.
Attorney Gerrie Nel said the challenge now is to bring the mastermind of the murder to justice.

Nel said the information that Meyiwa was attacked came from the police.
“it’s not my belief [that Meyiwa was assassinated], I got the report from the South African Police Service, the investigation officer, the investigation team. That is also his belief. “
The defender said the facts point to the murder and said Afriforum felt it was his duty to share that information with the family.
Nel said he shares the opinion of Police Minister Bheki Cele that the state has a strong case against the defendants.

Meyiwa was shot at the home of his girlfriend, singer Kelly Khumalo, in Vosloorus in Ekurhuleni.
Five suspects have been arrested in connection with his death.
They will appear in court on Tuesday.
