He said King Goodwill Zwelithini had expressed “his sincere thanks for the sympathy after the sudden passing of Prince Lethukuthula last week.”

Buthelezi said there were already a large number of people within the royal family.
“In terms of the confinement regulations, there are already too many mourners, only within the Royal Family itself. Therefore, even within the immediate family, assistance will be restricted.”
Buthelezi said Zwelithini did not want the funeral to cause an outbreak of the disease.
“His Majesty has emphasized his willingness that his son’s funeral does not become the epicenter of an outbreak of Covid-19 infections. He is deeply concerned to prevent this.”
He asked the public to respect Zwelithini’s wishes.
“I therefore urge that we ease the burden of concern from His Majesty our King by following his instructions. These are unusual times. It is necessary that we take our King’s direction and carry out his wishes.”
