Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and assistant Pep Ljinders knew they had a star on their hands at Harvey Elliott after just one training session. The 17-year-old has already made a big impact in Merseyside after making the Fulham trade last summer.
Klopp was so impressed with Elliott that he gave him his first Premier League appearance for the Reds in January against Sheffield United.
That was after he caught the Reds’ attention in the Carabao Cup and FA Cup, showing off his nimble footwork and tricks.
Ljinders has been watching Elliott and his development since he moved to North London, and the Dutchman has also praised his character and skill.

Liverpool does not want to rush Elliott in the image of the first team and will facilitate it through its youth academy.
They are confident that he has a great future at Anfield and can play a large part in his success.
Elliott will sign his first professional contract this summer, with Liverpool presenting a three-year contract.
