Former Chelsea striker Diego Costa told ESPN Brazil that he believes Antonio Conte could never last a full season at a club like Real Madrid.
Costa left Chelsea at the end of the 2016-17 season after a fight with Conte and returned to Atlético de Madrid, the club he had left to join Chelsea in 2014.

Conte followed Costa off Stamford Bridge 12 months later and took a year of soccer, during which time he was closely linked to Real Madrid’s work, before being named head of Inter Milan in May.
“We [Conte and I] He had problems off the field, but I think he is a very good coach, “said Costa.” I have no hard feelings towards Conte.
“But to be a top manager, you need to change the human side of his management. He is very suspicious. Like, say, Real Madrid, it would never last a season.”
In 2013, Costa stated that he would represent Spain internationally despite being born in Brazil and making two appearances for South Americans.
The 31-year-old was widely criticized in his country of birth for his decision to play for Spain, but said he chose to change because then-Brazil manager Luiz Felipe Scolari overlooked it.
