World War II veteran, who partnered with singer Michael Ball to cover You will never Walk alone, has raised a staggering £ 28 million for the NHS. He has become the oldest person to achieve number one in the UK.

Captain Tom Moore captured the hearts of the nation when he promised to walk 100 laps from his home garden before his 100th birthday on April 30 in an attempt to raise vital funds for the NHS.
