Opera’s latest update offers direct access to Instagram on your desktop

[ad_1]

If you’re the type of person who loves to keep social media platforms like Facebook open in their browser tab while they’re on their computer, then the latest Opera update is worth checking out. This is because in the latest version of Opera, the company provides users with direct access to Instagram with a single click.

What this means is that instead of users having to keep a separate Instagram tab open in their desktop browsers, Opera has integrated Instagram into the sidebar of their browser. This means that every time you want to call Instagram to check your feed, all you need to do is click the button in the sidebar and a floating window with Instagram will appear.

Please note this is for the desktop version of Instagram, although for the most part the experience is very similar to the mobile version, especially now that Instagram has finally allowed users to send and receive messages via the web version of your platform. This new feature for Opera is not exactly innovative and not much different compared to leaving a tab open, but it is a bit more convenient and a little more efficient as well.

If you are a big Instagram user, there is no doubt that this is a feature that you might appreciate, but for the rest of us it seems like a novelty.
