According to police spokesman Capt. Sergio Kock, his widow was arrested by provincial organized crime detectives and other interested parties around 8:45 a.m. in Marchand, Kakamas.
News24 reported that the 41-year-old British owned a hotel in Pofadder and were stabbed to death on October 7, 2020.

A family friend, at the time, claimed that it appeared that the British had been strangled with a dog chain and dragged into the pool.
Police arrested three men shortly after the incident, and one of them, Jacques van Vuuren, 37, was sentenced in Kimberley Superior Court after signing a plea agreement last Thursday.
Kock said the court handed Van Vuuren a 25-year sentence, of which five years were suspended for the murder, 15 years for aggravated robbery and three years for illegal possession of a firearm.
The sentences will run concurrently, and he is expected to serve 20 years in jail.
The other two defendants, Amantle Bareki, 24, and Enrich Williams, 34, also face charges of murder, aggravated robbery and possession of illegal firearms. They are expected to appear in Pofadder Trial Court on May 17.
“The 30-year-old wife will be charged with murder, aggravated robbery and perjury and is due to appear in Pofadder Magistrates Court on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.”
Investigations into the case are continuing, the spokesperson said.
