Sebastian Vettel has denied that downloading his collection of Ferrari road cars they could look like sour grapes after being kicked out by the Maranello team.
“The reason was just to free up a little space,” said the four-time world champion at the launch of his 2021 green Aston Martin.
“I’m very busy in my life, so I don’t have time to enjoy and drive around doing nothing. So there are no big secrets,” added Vettel.

The 33-year-old said he has thought back to his disappointing final season with Ferrari last year “and I’m not happy with how it went.”
“But I have accepted it and I have been living it and I do not regret anything. I am very at peace with last year,” added the German.
After the Aston Martin rebrand, the former Racing Point team hints that it wants to join Mercedes, Red Bull and Ferrari as the title-bearing team for years to come.

“It’s no secret that in recent years it was necessary to be in a Mercedes to win the championship,” Vettel said.
“But F1 is changing and maybe that gap could be narrowed and that’s the hope, to be closer to the top and not just on the podium if you’re lucky.”
“As for age, I feel like I have it in me, but then it depends on the circumstances and how things go in the near future,” he added.
Last year, Racing Point’s car was branded a ‘pink Mercedes’, and observers are now noticing key similarities between the new Aston Martin and the 2020 title-winning car.
However, technical chief Andy Green insists that Aston Martin “has no idea what Mercedes has done” over the winter.
“The concept of the car is 100% Aston Martin,” he said. “The course we started two years ago is behind us and we have learned a lot since then.”
As for Vettel, he says helping Ferrari beat Ferrari to third place in the world championship is not a personal goal for him.
“Our unofficial goal is third place and for that we have to be ahead of Ferrari, but for me it is not a personal satisfaction to finish in front of them,” he insisted.
