Defending DStv Premiership champion Mamelodi Sundowns and runner-up Kaizer Chiefs found out who their rivals are from the group stage of the CAF Champions League this afternoon.

The 2020/2021 CAF Champions League group stage draw took place in Cairo at 2pm with Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs in the mix.

Mamelodi Sundowns booked their place in the group stage after beating Botswana’s Jwaneng Galaxy FC, while Kaizer Chiefs beat Angola Giants’ Premiero De Agosto with a 1-0 victory.

The Kaizer Chiefs were drawn together with Petro Altelico from Angola, Horoya from Guinea and Wydad Athletic from Morocco in Group C.

Mamelodi Sundowns, on the other hand, were drawn alongside CR Belouizdad from Algeria, Al Hilal from Sudan and TP Mazembe from DR Congo in Group B.
