Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta continues to renew his squad as he aims to fire the Gunners on the Premier League table.
The cleanup began when Sead Kolasnic joined Bundesliga Schalke on loan, and Arteta more than hinted that others will follow the Bosnian through the starting gate this month.

William Saliba is reportedly set to leave Arsenal, with a transfer bidding war expected in January.
The defender joined the Gunners early in the season after agreeing on terms during the 2018-2019 campaign, but was immediately paralyzed by Mikel Arteta.
Saliba has only minutes in Premier League 2 and the EFL Trophy for Arsenal, and has been linked to a pullout before making a single appearance in the senior category.
According to L’Equipe, through Sport Witness, Saliba is now open to the prospect of leaving Arsenal this month to play regular soccer elsewhere.
Dortmund boss responds to Brandt’s interest

Borussia Dortmund manager Michael Zorc has denied claims that Arsenal have made an offer for Julian Brandt.
Bild journalist Christian Falk said Mikel Arteta did have an interest in signing the 24-year-old, who signed for Dortmund after shining for Bayer Leverkusen.
But Zorc has claimed that “there is nothing on the table” for Arsenal, but admitted that he was aware of the speculation surrounding the player.
“I read that too. I can’t say more about it. No one answered, there’s nothing on the table,” Zorc told Kicker.

Mikel Arteta’s recent comments offer insight into his plans for Mesut Ozil now that the January transfer window is upon us.
