Manchester United’s recent run of results has lifted them up the table and positioned them as Liverpool’s closest potential rivals.
However, those results have come after a bad summer of recruiting.
Many still feel that the Red Devils have areas they need to improve after losing several key goals.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is believed to want four more players to bolster his United squad.
Jadon Sancho was the club’s main target in the summer and he may once again test Borussia Dortmund’s resolve.
United also have to decide what to do with Paul Pogba, who has again been linked to a withdrawal following comments from his agent Mino Raiola.

Sancho to go next summer
Jadon Sancho is expected to leave Borussia Dortmund next summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The forward was United’s main target in the summer, but they couldn’t close a deal in time.
Dortmund are not ready for a mid-season sale, which means that Sancho will remain in place for now.
Romano, however, told Que Golazo Podcast: “Next summer I hope Jadon Sancho leaves the club. Yes, he really was one step away from leaving Borussia Dortmund this summer, Manchester United came very close to signing him for 100 million of euros.
“But then Borussia Dortmund changed their plans, but Manchester United had the agreement with the player and his agents, so everything was ready, and then the deal collapsed in the last stages.
“That is why I say that next summer I hope that Jadon Sancho leaves the club and returns to the Premier League.”

United track Hakan
AC Milan star Hakan Calhanoglu is in the last six months of his contract at San Siro.
The Turkish star has impressed this season at the San Siro as his leading Serie A team.
Gazzetta Dello Sport understands that the talks between the player and the Italian giants are ongoing.
United is monitoring the situation and could try to do something for Calhanoglu if talks break down.
Red Devils Pogba lawsuit
The Red Devils are willing to let Paul Pogba leave the club at the end of the season, but they want a sufficient replacement in return.
Reports had suggested that United would allow him to go to Juventus in exchange for Aaron Ramsey or Adrien Rabiot.
However, that may not be true as Fabrizio Romano claims they will only sell the French midfielder for a hefty transfer fee or in exchange for a world-class player.
Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, recently came out and stated that his time at Old Trafford was “over” and he has already touted Juventus as a possible destination.
