Liverpool face Newcastle United

Liverpool do not usually lose points. Last weekend they drew at home with West Brom and everyone is upset about it.

Everyone; the players, the coach, the fans. It’s not a heartbreaking or devastating mess, it’s just annoying.

We faced a horrible anti-football and we fell short.

The Reds will look to set the record straight with a win at Newcastle United.

The Magpies are on a losing streak right now without a win in their last three league games, they were also recently knocked out of the League Cup by Brentford.

Steve Bruce confirms Newcastle injured list

Newcastle’s injured list is impressive.

It’s not as horrendous as ours, but it’s impressive.

Steve Bruce confirmed a string of absences at his pre-game press conference.

The hosts will not feature Ryan Fraser, Jeff Hendrick, Paul Dummett, Allan Saint-Maximin and Jamaal Lascelles.

It’s unclear if Jonjo Shelvey will be ready in time to face his former club, while Callum Wilson is expected to be fit.

What RTK has to say

Newcastle’s disabled list includes some key players.

Allan Saint-Maximin is a great surprise to the hosts given his creative spark.

Jamaal Lascelles will also be a hit for the defense.

However, the Reds are still suffering more, the absence of Virgil van Dijk could be felt in the set pieces.

After all, Liverpool should have too much for Newcastle.
