Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Emile Smith Rowe’s display

Several Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Emile Smith Rowe’s display as the Gunners secured consecutive Premier League wins for the first time since the first two weeks of the season with their win on Tuesday.

Mikel Arteta’s men beat Brighton 1-0 at Amex Stadium. It was Alexandre Lacazette who scored the winning goal shortly after entering the second half.

The game saw Smith Rowe make just his second start of the season in the league after appearing in the win over Chelsea on Boxing Day.

And once again he managed to vindicate Arteta’s decision to include him with another tremendously impressive performance against the Gaviotas.

As Whoscored.com shows, he made two key passes. Bukayo Saka was the only Arsenal player to contribute the most during the victory.

He came close to receiving an assist after his good work down the left wing gave Gabriel Martinelli a chance. The teenager came agonizingly close to finding his first goal of the season. But his effort went over the bar.

And after the game, many Arsenal fans took to social media to praise Smith Rowe. They have been very impressed with his performances when he has had a chance this season.

It is clear that many want Smith Rowe, who makes £ 20,000 a week according to Spotrac, to hold his place for the foreseeable future and several think he is on track to realize his significant potential.
