It’s no secret that Mikel Arteta and Edu have another midfielder as Arsenal’s number one target, and since they failed to get Houssem Aouar in the summer, they will surely do their best for an alternative in January.

Now, according to the Sun, Mikel Arteta has identified Sevilla midfielder Joan Jordan as another possibility, and the report says Sevilla have put a 55 million-pound buyout clause on him, but Sevilla are ready to hear offers from around of 32 million pounds. It seems reasonable if it fits into Arteta’s tactical style.
The 26-year-old came to Sevilla just 18 months ago and made a name for himself helping the club win the Europa League, scoring 4 goals in the process. One concern is that he has only scored two goals in La Liga, but obviously Arteta thinks he could fit in at Arsenal …
