This year, the folks at Turfloop in Skeem together went through a fair amount of drama, which not only managed to entertain Mzansi, but also taught them a thing or two about life.

The educational soap opera SABC1, which is a firm favorite, did not fall short when it came to ensuring viewers were seated in front of their televisions every day at 6 p.m. or at any time on YouTube.

Loved by fans for its “realistic” script, the soap opera did not disappoint by tackling topics such as sexual harassment, dysfunctional families, pain, and sexuality.

There was still a fair amount of drama and suspense for viewers to keep coming back for more, including seeing if Kele’s murdered body would ever be found, or if Mokgadi would blackmail Leeto out of a divorce.

The soap opera also had many funny moments and many painful scenes that often left viewers in their feelings.

Here are the five most important moments of Skeem together this year.
