One person was killed in a paragliding accident at Lion’s Head, Western Cape Emergency Medical Services said Wednesday.
EMS spokeswoman Deanna Bessick said the incident occurred at 12:25 pm “when the patient’s paraglider fell while flying.”
“As a result, the patient collided with Lions Head. EMS and Skymed paramedics are currently on the scene. Unfortunately, the patient has passed away,” he said Wednesday afternoon.
Bessick expressed her condolences to the man’s family.
