Inter Milan star ready to turn down Manchester United offer
Ed Woodward has made a transfer promise to a ‘furious’ Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after recent events at Manchester United.
Manchester United have managed to really and well stabilize the boat in the Premier League after a disastrous start to their campaign. The recent failures of their main rivals mean they are well positioned to break into the top four, something that would have seemed out of reach just a month ago.
However, their elimination from the Champions League would have been a huge disappointment for the club, as they now meet again in the Europa League.
After winning their first two group stage matches against Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig, many expected them to reach the knockout stage. But instead, they lost three of their last four games, eventually finishing third in their group and being relegated to the Europa League.
Mino Raiola’s comments on Paul Pogba ahead of his all-important final group stage match against RB Leipzig appear to have left Solskjaer “furious”. And it seems that the club is more than open to letting the French go in the near future.
It remains to be seen if it is in January or next summer. But Solskjaer has been promised that he will receive the transfer fee they receive from the sale and then something else to further strengthen his team.

As the Mirror reported, Ed Woodward told Manchester United supporters in a virtual meeting:
“I told this forum in April that we remained committed to strengthening the team, while at the same time being disciplined in our spending during the pandemic.
“I think we’ve delivered on that, with the additions we made over the summer bringing our total net spending to over € 200 million (£ 180 million) since the summer of 2019, more than any other major European club during that. period.
“We will continue to support Ole with a long-term planned hiring approach, focused on summer windows.”
To be honest, the club has improved a lot since the arrival of Bruno Fernandes in January. But this team is still perfect and needs a few more signings before it can compete for the Premier League title. And it’s good to see that that’s exactly what the Red Devils plan to do.
