Luiz denies rumors of a breakup between him and Mikel Arteta

Arsenal are currently fighting on the pitch and Football London claims the club is fighting off it too.

The report says that the problems on the Arsenal field have caused the club’s players to start doubting Mikel Arteta’s methods.

One player who has reportedly fallen out with the Spanish coach is David Luiz, and the report says the two have not spoken for some time.

Luiz has been absent since his nasty head clash with Raúl Jiménez when Arsenal took on Wolves in the Premier League.

Several Arsenal players, including Granit Xhaka, have mentally disconnected from Arteta’s leadership, suggesting he could be dealing with a divided locker room.

Luiz and Arsenal have denied reports of a rift between the Brazilian and his coach with a statement that reads:

“David Luiz flatly denies this story about him and Arteta and insists that he has a good relationship with Arteta and wants nothing more than success.” (Soccer365)

Leaving out Mesut Ozil and Sokratis Papastathopoulos has also been felt by the club’s players, and is said to be influencing the mood in the Emirates as well.
