Travel at your own risk, warns Pandor

JOHANNESBURG – The Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Naledi Pandor, has warned South Africans visiting abroad to be aware that closures could occur.

This can result in the cancellation of international flights.

Pandor briefed the media on the highlights of international relations for 2020.

The countries of the Northern Hemisphere are facing a second wave of pandemic.

“South Africans should be careful when traveling to these countries as they may feel distressed or even helpless abroad,” he said.

“Please note that if you travel, you travel at your own risk to these countries,” he added.

He encouraged travelers to familiarize themselves with the immigration and health entry requirements of the country they visit, as well as South Africa’s entry health requirements during the pandemic.
