In another blow before the tumultuous 2020 comes to a close, tech giant Google has had several online services go down, these include:

• Gmail

•Youtube

• Google Calendar

• Google Drive

• Google documents

• Google Sheets

• Google Presentations

• Google sites

• Google groups

• Classic Hangouts

• Google chat

• Google Meet

• Google Vault

• Currents

• Google forms

• Google cloud search

• Google Keep

• Google Tasks

• Google voice

• Administration console

• Google analytics

• App Maker

• Google maps

• Blogger

• Google Sync for mobile

•Classroom

Many users trying to access Gmail receive error messages that they cannot access the server, while others report that the accounts “disappear.” Youtube users cannot access the site either.

According to DownDetector, the problems started around 1:00 p.m. today, but were initially concentrated in Europe before moving on to the rest of the world.

DownDetector that displays a heat map of the regions most affected by the outage.

It is not yet known what is the cause of the problem that has affected all these services, however, it is known that Google problems are quite rare and some services seem to be working intermittently at the time of writing this article.

There’s no question that there must be some serious alarm bells ringing in the offices of tech giants around the world and they (fingers crossed) will figure it out as quickly as possible.
