Arteta does it again! By Konstantin Mitov
Lovely Arsenal folks, I honestly think I’ve never seen such a low bottom. I wish this was like that nightmare where you wake up and realize it was just a bad dream, but it isn’t.
At this point, if we had a real Board of Directors, they would make a decision. Either we fire the coach or we fund him for like 8 players at least in January. One of the two things is not happening for sure.
I was reasonable enough not to bother looking at last week, because I knew we were beaten before the game started, but this time I don’t know what happened to me, I had the game running in the background and I thought about watching the second half.
Fortunately, Granit Xhaka saved me 35 more minutes of misery because I had the TV turned off after 10 minutes of watching since the reboot. But let’s not talk about why it is one of the biggest 35 million waste in the world, and think why the hell it is in the field.
I expect this from Xhaka, I know he’s a league 2 player, why can’t the best manager in the world see that? How is Bellerin a professional footballer, when he has about 6 false shots so far this season?
I could go on and on, but you know what? I was successful from the second day of this season (the Fulham game and the FA Cup fooled me for a moment). But it was there in the making. Our football has gotten progressively worse with Arteta and I warned all readers of this site what will happen.
It is impossible to play a negative resemblance to college football and hope to win games. The boys from the academy play better in Europe than this ‘first team’. And I told them this would happen and unfortunately I am right.
I can’t wait for the hateful comments against me, about all the positives we should get, like we dominate possession against the mighty Burnley! Can’t we just admit we made a horrible mistake for the second time in a row and never be stingy with a coach again?
I was disappointed in eighth place last year, but I never thought we could be fighting relegation. We have scored as 2 goals in 8 games. We have had at least the same number of red cards, if not more, in the same period of time.
I feel no pride, no passion, in fact, no disappointment. Before I was excited for Arsenal, now I’m numb. I leave my feelings about soccer in a dark little corner, harder than Xhaka grabs a man’s throat!
But what can we expect when we hired a former mediocre player with no managerial experience, who was incredibly hyped for being the man who listens to Pep?
We need a manager who will earn the respect of the princesses we have in the locker room and take them out like now. If I am the Arsenal manager, Xhaka will be told to find a club before my first press conference starts.
It would delve into who signed Willian and get him fired, as well as the guy who agreed to give Auba 300k. Hello, Ozil number 2. Did we learn absolutely nothing about giving ridiculous salaries to older players? Legacy? What legacy is leading us downhill? If I were the boss, I would send Bellerin to the U21 team until I find a club.
These players failed this club so many times, probably only Chuck Norris can count that high. But I can no longer blame them for the skill and mindset they never had. It’s time to point the gun at whoever is in charge who hasn’t noticed yet.
I think Arteta is leaving before the end of the year. Either that or Kroenke should think about selling the club, before losing a ton of money, because the championship doesn’t pay that well.
But we still have the Europa. That is, of course, only until we put Laca’s goals and talents in a 10 and 650k p / wk from 30+ charity players outperforming their best on the wings and we hope to win soccer games.
Enough is enough people. There is no excuse in this world to give those prima donnas. They have been hiding long, long, too long, in a galaxy practically here. It’s time for a massive cleanup, starting with the manager.
Let’s give the new man a chance to bring something in in January, before we see players like Sam Allardyce save us from relegation with 8 games of the season to go.
Maybe then we will win a few games in an attempt not to fall? Who knows? Fortunately, Christmas is just around the corner and if we all wish Santa enough he could give us a new starting XI, a new owner, or more realistically a manager who can fix this mess.
That’s what I ended up with, I hope your vacation is filled with more purpose than a team led by Arteta. Until this nightmare is over, I wish you happy holidays.
