Springbok wing Aphiwe Dyantyi has been informed of a four-year suspension for a doping offense.
In 2019, just weeks before the Springboks departed for the World Cup, it was first known that Dyantyi’s mandatory B-sample had tested positive for three banned substances after a national training camp.
Last November, his hearing was finally concluded, and the SA Institute for Drug-Free Sports (SAIDS) has issued a ban that will run until August 12, 2023, which is just days before his 29th birthday.
