Coach of the Zambia national team Milutin Sredojevic has appeared in court charged with sexual assault on a waitress.
The 51-year-old was released on bail of R10,000 and will reappear in court next February.
AARRIVAL SEXUALLY ASSAULTED A WOMAN IN PE
National Tax Authority (NPA) spokeswoman Anelisa Ncakane told AFP that on Monday the Serbian coach attended a match in Port Elizabeth when he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman who served him coffee.
“On Monday, a 39-year-old woman was serving coffee. When she asked Mr. Sredojevic if he had his coffee with sugar, he said no, but said he wanted a different type of sugar targeting the woman’s private parts. ” Ncakane said.
Later that day, when the woman served him coffee again, he touched the woman’s butt, the official explained.
A complaint was filed with the police that led to the court appearance on Friday.
The controversial Serb, known as ‘Micho’ is in South Africa with his Zambian team to participate in the Cosafa tournament.

Sredojevic coached the Orlando Pirates in 2006 and again between 2017-2019.
He was charged with a similar incident during 2019 following his departure from The Buccaneers.
