McKinsey agrees to reimburse R650m in fees to SAA, Transnet for working with the Regiments

JOHANNESBURG – Consulting firm McKinsey agreed to return R650 million in fares to South African Airways (SAA) and Transnet for work done with Regiments Capital.
The state capture commission said that talks were started with the consultancy and that there was an agreement.
McKinsey and the Regiments were called into question after hundreds of millions of rand were paid out despite SAA facing substantial financial problems at the time.
McKinsey’s witnesses are set to testify before the commission on Thursday.
