Liverpool academy graduate Trent Alexander-Arnold will be the captain of his childhood club for the first time tonight in the Champions League clash with FC Midtjylland, and several fans have reacted on Twitter.

Alexander-Arnold, 22, makes his first start with the Reds since November 8 after recovering from a calf injury sustained during a 1-1 draw with Manchester City.

The West Derby winger will wear the famous bracelet for the first time in his already illustrious career when Liverpool conclude their Group D campaign in Denmark.

It represents the last historic moment for Alexander-Arnold in what will be his 147th appearance with the club since breaking into senior configuration in 2016-17.
