Two were shot to death while a third, the driver of the Black Polo, was injured and taken to hospital under police surveillance.
Police recovered two AK-47 rifles.

“A male passerby of unknown age was also found to have suffered a gunshot wound to the face and was in critical condition. He was also treated with advanced life support interventions and transferred to a hospital for more care. ”
In the second scene, at the corner of Beech and Kanna streets in Benoni, two men suffered fatal gunshot wounds at the Pole.
“The motive for the shooting has yet to be determined,” Makhubele added.
