CAPE TOWN – Naledi Awards Founder & CEO Dawn Lindberg Passes Away
Lindberg’s passion for theater prompted her to create the Naledi Theater Awards.
He passed away Monday night from a complication related to the coronavirus.
Naledi’s Chris Avant Smith said: “His passing is a huge blow to the South African theater industry. Dawn was a legendary anti-apartheid activist; She will be missed by all of us at Naledi’s and throughout the theater community. “
Lindberg and her husband Des were also known for their children’s music albums.
