Master KG beats Nicki Minaj and Jason Derulo to win international award

The room where the Musician Master KG stores his awards must be bursting.

The South African continues his global dominance by adding another award to his name.

The star beat out Nicki Minaj, Jason Derulo, and Dua Lipa to take home the Song of the Year award at the annual NRJ Music Awards in France.

The awards are presented by the French radio station to honor musicians from around the world.

On Twitter, Master KG said that he could not believe the artists he had beaten to obtain the coveted title.

“We won a big one in France last night, Best International Song of the Year at the NRJ music awards. I keep seeing these nominees over and over again because I can’t believe it! Thank you all very much for making this victory possible, ”tweeted an excited Master KG.

This award follows multiple wins from around the world in recent weeks for Master KG.

Their hit song “Jerusalema”, featuring vocalist Nomcebo Zikode, has accelerated Master KG to instantly become a household name around the world.

Last week, Jay-Z’s Tidal 2020 playlist hit the American rapper and business mogul.

This came just after the musician received the news that he had managed to reproduce 143 million Spotify streams, coming from 18.5 million listeners in 92 countries.

The YouTube video “Jerusalema” has more than 260 million views and people from all over the world have participated in the “Jerusalema” dance challenge.
