Arteta must bring Lacazette back to Arsenal’s first team

Hello fans, what a time to be an Arsenal fan. I’m sure some are not happy at the moment, some are just resigned and many want the coach to retire completely, but whatever camp he belongs to, he cannot deny that he loves Arsenal. and you want success for us.

Arteta gave in to fans’ demands that Aubameyang be downplayed and it’s a shame most haven’t yet admitted they were wrong. I don’t want to delve too deeply into Aubameyang’s strengths or weaknesses, but those who pay attention to detail would know that he is not fit to play as a solo CF, especially in this league; he just doesn’t have the strength, skills, and technical knowledge to play in that position. It will work there if we play counterattack football, but many teams defend us and it will be easily disallowed.

In our set-up, forwards like Firmino, Raúl Jiménez, Giroud (my favorite Arsenal player in recent years, a big fan of his and Santi’s, of course) and a fit Lacazette will prosper better, except if we want to switch to counterattack . -Attack team, and that would mean parking the bus that I’m sure we don’t all like.

What makes our situation even worse at the moment is the fact that we are not creating ENOUGH opportunities to win matches and due to pressure from the fans we are sabotaging ourselves a bit by leaving Lacazette on the bench. The truth is, for now, we don’t have a better player to play the role than Lacazette, and having Lacazette on the field alongside Aubameyang gives us a better chance of winning the game.

Think of it this way, right now we are missing chances and goals, aren’t we supposed to play with our two forwards to increase our chances of winning? Why should we keep leaving one on the bench, especially when we don’t have an elite winger?

Auba-Laca is supposed to be our Son-Kane, but now we are leaving our Kane on the bench leaving only Son. As long as we don’t have a CAPABLE number 10, Lacazette should play and Aubameyang should play on the left, believe it or not, that’s our best option FOR NOW, and we should play them.

I don’t normally do this, but before our game with the Wolves, when both teams ‘lineups were announced and I saw both teams’ midfields, I couldn’t help but compare, and in my opinion, we were worse off. – and I found myself comparing our team to the other 6 best teams. It is a shame that we have wasted a lot of money on very average players and players who do not conform to our philosophy, which has resulted in a bloated squad of poor quality players who cannot be sold, and now Arteta is entirely to blame.

He has made his own mistakes, but blaming everything on him is unfair. How can a midfield of Xhaka and Ceballos control a midfield of Moutinho and Neves, when they cannot control Barkley and Douglas Luiz? Everton has Allan, Doucoure and Gomes. The Spurs have Hojberg, Ndombele, Sissoko, Lo Celso. Liverpool has Ndidi, Tielemans, Maddison not to mention Henderson and company. How can Xhaka and Ceballos dominate these teams, how?

What do they have in common? Speed, tenacity, aggression, industriousness, and these are qualities that a PL midfield MUST have. Our players lack these and can’t even create on top of that. We used to complain about being light in midfield, but with creativity now we have nothing! We cannot create from midfield, we cannot combine in attack to create chances, much less score a goal, how are we supposed to win?

As bad as it is, we can’t bank Xhaka right now, we just have to play with him until we have a better player, he has more forward passes than Ceballos, who is supposed to be the main creative player by his side, and that. it says a lot. People are asking for Niles and ESR, how far have we fallen? Or do we believe that this is the Fabregas era? I mean Chelsea has Kante, Jorginho, Havertz, Kovacic and they still tried to sign Partey. I was watching his game against the Spurs and they replaced Werner and brought in Pulisic who is incredible depth, but do we have who other than Partey? We celebrate and promote Drinkwater at Arsenal. Liverpool added Thiago to an already crazy midfield and Jota to a formidable attack, the same with City, Spurs, Everton (James), etc.

Do I need to say something about our disjointed and unbalanced attack? What I am saying is; the sooner we realize that our team is not good enough, the better and less we will get frustrated.
Who to blame? Blame the board and not any manager. We know the player Emery wanted and what they gave him, Arteta still needs some serious backing, but he needs to get rid of some players first, he needs time.

Lacazette had a great game last night and it may not be fresh for Sunday, but we need him back in the PL team no matter what. Aubameyang cannot do anything without a creator or creative strike partner.

Peace
