Cheetahs Coach Hawies Fourie has named his team for their Currie Cup crash against Bulls in Pretoria on Saturday.

It will be the first game of the year for the Cheetahs Currie Cup, having enjoyed a break in Week 1.

Fourie has made minor changes to the team that beat Griquas 28-9 in their last Super Rugby Unlocked encounter in Bloemfontein last month.

Victor Sekekete enters the starting XV, replacing Oupa Mohoje in the number 7 jersey, while Khuta Mchunu enters as a closed-head prop for Hencus van Wyk, who is out with a thigh injury.

On the bench, flank George Cronje is also set to make his debut for the Cheetahs.

With points transferred from Super Rugby Unlocked, the Cheetahs are currently fourth in the standings with three wins from six games.

Saturday’s clash at Loftus Versfeld is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
