Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa has lost her legal battle by trying to get her estranged husband, internationally renowned DJ Black Coffee, pay millions in legal fees and maintenance.

Black Coffee emerged victorious last week when a judge at the Johannesburg High Court ruled that its claims were not only unsubstantiated, but also unreasonable.

According to Sunday World, Mlotshwa said he had gotten used to a lavish lifestyle of luxury cars, vacations and high taste in fashion, and Black Coffee could afford it, earning 100 million rand a year as a DJ.

In the court ruling, the judge ordered that she only receive 15,000 rand per month for spousal support and 50,000 rand for child support.

The actress had demanded that Black Coffee pay her more than R131,000 in monthly support, made up of R80,000 for alimony for her two minor children, R30,000 for groceries and household items and R17,800 for her beauty cosmetics.

In addition, he had demanded that he pay his medical bills, as he had allegedly suffered from depression due to stress related to his divorce, which was highly publicized.

This was revealed in documents filed earlier this year.

Mlotshwa’s application was dismissed with costs.

In September, Mlotshwa amended her legal documents, adding that she lost her job due to her ex-husband.

“The interviewee pressured me not to participate in acting events, since he did not accept me doing romantic or intimate scenes.

“This lawsuit by the defendant immediately caused many television production companies and with numerous projects for which I had aligned to cancel me or remove me from their lists of actresses,” read Mlotshwa’s legal statement.
