Johannesburg – Actress and model Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa lost her judicial bid to force her ex-husband, DJ Black Coffee, to shell out millions of rand in legal fees and spousal and child support.
Sunday World may reveal that Mlotshwa’s application was dismissed with costs in the Johannesburg High Court, and the judge said his claims were unsubstantiated and unreasonable.
Mlotshwa had demanded that Black Coffee pay her more than R131,000 in monthly support, comprised of R80,000 in child support for her two minor children, R30,000 for groceries and household items and R17,800 for her beauty cosmetics. . In addition, she had demanded that he pay her medical bills, as she had allegedly suffered from depression due to stress related to her much-publicized divorce.
This, he had said, was because he had grown accustomed to a lavish lifestyle of luxury cars, vacations and good taste in fashion, and Black Coffee could afford it, earning 100 million rand a year as a DJ.
The couple separated in 2019 after four years of marriage.
In a court ruling on Wednesday, the judge dismissed Mlotshwa’s application with the costs and ordered that he only receive 15,000 rand a month for spousal support and 50,000 rand for child support.
