The Vodacom Bulls have confirmed the exit of the Juandre Kruger Lock after the parties reached a mutual agreement.
The 35-year-old lock Kruger rejoined the Bulls late last year and added five more international games to his participation limits at Vodacom Super Rugby before the Covid-19 pandemic abruptly ended the season.
Kruger also represented the Blue Bulls and Western Province in the Currie Cup before heading to Europe, where he played for Toulon and Racing Metro 92 in France, Northampton Saints in England and Scarlets in Wales.
In all, Kruger made 91 appearances for the Bulls and Blue Bulls.
“Kruger has always been the most professional. He has been exemplary as a player in terms of work ethic, dedication and passion for his craft. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors, ”said Bulls CEO Edgar Rathbone.
Commenting on his departure from the Bulls, Kruger said: ‘I will always cherish the time spent in the Bulls jersey, and I would like to wish the players, staff and management of Loftus all the best in the future. I would also like to thank all those who have helped me train as a player and as a person. ”
