Prince William’s fight against Netflix The crown it is nothing new to the world.

And while the Duke of Cambridge has expressed his fury in subtle ways over the previous seasons, the new episodes have rekindled anger for the young royalty.

According to the Daily Mirror editor Russell Myers, William criticized the royal show for making money off his parents’ marriage.

Speaking about the show with ITV host Lorraine Kelly, Myers said: “A lot has been written in the last few days since the season aired. The Crown has come out with a lot of fanfare and also really furore.”

“There are many historical inaccuracies in this version of The Crown. Peter Morgan, the writer, has actually said that he used artistic license in many of the scenes.”

“You have imagined how the scenes unfolded. I certainly cannot imagine that William will be watching. He previously told his friends that he believed it was not a very fair description of his father or his parents’ marriage. He said it was a simplistic way of make money, apparently, ”Myers said.

“Also Charles has told his friends that he will not see it. The description of Charles and Diana’s marriage is particularly troubling to the Royal Family. I don’t think they are part of the 80 million people who will tune in to the next couple of weeks.” added.
