  • Mtunzi SAPS also revealed that the driver, who may face a criminal charge, is a woman in critical condition.
  • The driver is currently fighting for her life at a nearby hospital.

Who is Anele Ngcongca? Career, clubs, honors …

Anele Ngcongca practiced his trade in Europe for most of his career, winning the Belgian League and Cup with Genk. He racked up 300 appearances over stints in Belgium and France, before returning home to Mamelodi Sundowns in 2016. He then went on to win the PSL title, Nedbank Cup and Telkom Knockout, scoring once in 42 appearances.

The right-back worker was also a Bafana Bafana veteran, with 53 caps for his country. The defender had joined AmaZulu on loan last week, but sadly, his life was cut short in this tragic accident.
