3 children die in house fire in Limpopo

Three children died after a house in Northam, Limpopo, caught fire on Saturday.

The children, a baby and two young children, were home alone at the time of the fire, said police spokesman Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe.

Police officers, firefighters and emergency services personnel went to the scene.

The children were declared dead at the scene.

They have been identified as Sinenhlahla Tsotetsi, 5 months old, and Jabulane Tsotetsi and Katlego Mogale, 2 years old.

The cause of the fire is still unknown at this stage, Ngoepe said.
