Heavy rains in Pretoria caused several flooding incidents in the metro this week.
On Friday, the Tshwane Emergency Services call center at the Tshwane Emergency Services call center was informed, City emergency services department spokesman Charles Mabaso said.
Firefighters were asked to remove uprooted trees and clear debris from several suburbs.

Four vehicles were trapped in the flood and the occupants were forced to flee their partially submerged cars.
“At Doornpoort, [in] Amandelboom Street, a car was reported to be stuck and floating in the water. The occupant of the vehicle managed to escape unharmed and the road was barricaded and temporarily closed, “he said.
