A contestant on the American game show Wipeout reportedly died after completing an obstacle course.

The incident reportedly took place on Wednesday. After being treated by paramedics on set, the contestant later died in hospital.
CBS News says the deceased was a man in his 30s. The cause of death has not yet been revealed and the man’s name has been withheld until family members are notified, the post writes.
In a statement obtained by CNN, spokesperson for TBS, the network that transmits CleanHe said: “We are devastated to learn of his passing, and our condolences to the family.”
Sources close to the production told the publication that Clean Contestants must undergo a medical examination before participating in the show.
Similary, IT IS! News reports that the Clean The production team is “well equipped” with medical personnel and a security producer during the shoot.
Clean is a game show in which contestants traverse extreme obstacle courses in an attempt to win a cash prize.
The show aired from 2008 to 2014, and in 2020 it was picked up again by TBS.
