According to Sowetan Live, the artist died at Far East Rand Hospital on Thursday before 9:00. The cause of death has not been made public. In a statement, Thanduxolo said more details “will follow shortly.”

The star, whose real name is Nomasonto Maswanganyi, began her career as a dancer in the group Chiskop in 1998.
She was discovered in Jam alley by then-host Nimrod Nkosi on the show. Soon after, he appeared on Mzambiya and Steve Likwiliya’s Jersy Number 10 EP and signed with Bull Dawgs as an artist, recording his first solo album Bull Dawgs First Lady in 2002.

Khanyi Mbau, a close friend of Mshoza, expressed her sadness on social media after the news. “I REST IN PEACE MY LOVE. I am tired in 2020,” she captioned a photo on Instagram.
