The star, whose real name is Nomasonto Maswanganyi, began her career as a dancer in the group Chiskop in 1998.

She was discovered in Jam alley by then-host Nimrod Nkosi on the show. Soon after, he appeared on Mzambiya and Steve Likwiliya’s Jersy Number 10 EP and signed with Bull Dawgs as an artist, recording his first solo album Bull Dawgs First Lady in 2002.
