According to police spokesman Colonel Thembeka Mbele, Eshowe police responded to a crime scene in the Mbomboshane area of ​​Eshowe on Tuesday around 1:00 pm.

“Upon arrival, the police were informed that a 35-year-old man had a fight with the suspect for an amount of R100. The suspect allegedly stabbed the man in the upper left shoulder before fleeing the scene,” he said Mbele.

“Eshowe police officers tracked down the suspect and found him in the Mbomboshane area where he was hiding. A murder weapon was also found in his possession. He was arrested and charged with murder.”

KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Khombinkosi Jula praised the police officers for the speedy arrest.
