A Western Cape man was arrested after cocaine worth an estimated 1 million rand was found in his home.

The 29-year-old was arrested in Milnerton on Tuesday after police received information from a vehicle carrying drugs.

After the information was followed, the vehicle, a white Ford, was seen driving on Koeberg Road, Milnerton. The vehicle was stopped by members of the Milnerton Crime Prevention Unit who searched the vehicle where cocaine and mandrax were discovered. said the police.

An undisclosed amount of money and more cocaine were discovered in the man’s home.

The man was charged with drug trafficking and is expected to appear soon in Cape Town Magistrates Court.
