JOHANNESBURG – Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga will address the media on Wednesday to give an update on the ongoing national senior certification and senior certificate exams.

This week it was reported that the Matric Mathematics Paper Two exam was leaked, while enrollees’ writing exams in one year were dealt a devastating blow by COVID-19.
The department said Monday that it was not sure how the leak occurred, but that the tuition students who had access to the questionnaire appeared to be in Limpopo and Gauteng. The department said it would request the support of law enforcement agencies to assist with the investigation into how students accessed the newspaper.
