The body of a man was found hanging from a highway bridge in north Pretoria Tuesday morning.
The body was found hanging just under the bridge after Petroport towards Hammanskraal.
“Our teams responded to the incident shortly before 08:00 and found a 30-year-old man hanging from the bridge. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene, “said Tshwane emergency services spokesman Charles Mabaso.
He said police and medics were on the scene when the fire department arrived.
“We activated our teams to help with the recovery of the body after the police finished taking photographs and collecting data from the crime scene.”
The north lane of the N1 was closed.
