The National Department of Basic Education (DBE) is investigating the leak of the Mathematics Document 2.

“Initial indications are that the document was available in the early hours of Monday morning, hours before it could be written,” the department said in a statement Monday.

The origins of the leak are unclear, but according to the DBE, the license plate candidates who accessed the questionnaire “appear to be located in Limpopo and Gauteng provinces.”
