The expert has predicted that the Manchester United superstar will leave Old Trafford in the near future due to positional issues.
While he has never managed to show his best in a Manchester United jersey, Paul Pogba’s talent has never been questioned. When the Frenchman joined the Red Devils in a world-record move of £ 89 million, he was expected to lead the club to the top after a rough few years since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement.
However, at this point it is quite clear that this has not happened. Instead, it is Pogba’s shares that have fallen and with his contract exhausted, the club seems willing to let him go for a fee of around £ 53 million in the summer transfer window if certain reports are to be believed.
However, many people blame management for Pogba’s deficiencies with the Manchester United jersey. And Carlton Palmer seems to be one of them.
As reported by Football Fan Cast, he said:
“I see him leave United.
“Why was he successful at Juventus? Well, they paid for three in the back, five in the middle of the park, which allowed him to play a role for free. Go and do what you have to do son.
“He’s a talented boy, but you can’t keep blaming Pogba if you don’t play with him and prepare the team in the right way to perform.”

Without getting into those tactical discussions, Pogba cannot fully wash his hands on this matter. It has always seemed like he doesn’t even want to be in the club. Each transfer window has brought with it new rumors about his possible departure. And now, with his contract exhausted, his departure seems immovable.
Interestingly, even though he hasn’t set the world on fire in recent seasons, there has never been a shortage of candidates for the French World Cup winner. In fact, two of the biggest clubs in the world, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, are said to be interested in signing him.
A few more years on his contract and Manchester United could have sought a bidding war. But in this situation, it looks like they will lose it for a bargain price after all. But then things could have been even worse if the club didn’t have the option to extend his contract for another year.
