Mesut Ozil has supported Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after the forward was criticized by Toni Kroos for his extravagant pre-planned goal celebrations.
Aubameyang is known for his scoring feats in every team he has played for and that gives the forward the opportunity to always celebrate his goals differently.
He has used the Black Panther mask and the Spider-Man mask to celebrate before.
However, Kroos is not a fan of these celebrations and recently criticized Aubameyang for such celebrations.
The forward replied and told him that he celebrates his son and that he will continue to change them.
Ozil has now chosen a side and the German midfielder supported his Arsenal captain against his former teammate.
As the exchange progressed, Ozil took to Twitter to post a meme from one of Aubameyang’s goal celebrations where he donned a mask and captioned the post: “The best goal celebration! @ Aubameyang7 “
Ozil has played with players at club and international level and although he has been sent off from Arsenal’s starting XI, the German clearly maintains his loyalty to his club.
Arsenal expect Aubameyang to be out of their goal drought when club football returns after the international break.
