DA at Free State Welcomes News of Ace Magashule’s Arrest Warrant
The Free State Prosecutor has welcomed the news that an arrest warrant has been obtained for ANC Secretary General Ace Magashule.
“We are very happy that the man who plunders the province and impoverishes its citizens since 1994 is finally facing justice. He has acted with impunity for 26 years, and the legal battle of the Prosecutor’s Office, which lasted many years, finally has brought Mr. Magashule to law.
“Magashule still has many other problems[s], among others the Vrede Dairy Project, for which he has to answer in court, “said DA MPL Leona Kleynhans.
The district attorney will ensure that justice is served.
“It is to be hoped that the tragedy of the destruction of the Free State and the plundering of the state coffers by Mr. Magashule will come to an end when the wheels of justice turn against him.
“The wheels of justice are indeed turning extremely slow, but the Prosecutor’s Office will continue to ensure that its inexorable movement does not stop.”
